My name is William, not Will, not Bill.

I am an artist, designer and builder based in Brooklyn, New York.  I’m a pervert, a rope bondage enthusiast, a sadist, a Top and sometimes a Dominant. And I am the founder of Temple New York.

In 2019, a small group of fringe artists came together to create Temple New York, a modest project space in Bushwick, Brooklyn designed to make space for alternative life art. Temple has since evolved out of its co-op style origins to become a thriving community space for Kink activities and education aimed at offering safer space to Queer, Neuro-divergent, Trans, POC, Sex Worker and Alternative Lifestyle communities. Temple New York has also served as a perfect space for me to experiment with designing and building Kink Space, Kink Structures, Furniture and Experiences.

While in Art School in the early 2000’s I explored my love of sculpture, which lead me to wanting to break down the space between artist and audience. I started building installation spaces and interactive sculptures to center the viewer in a curated experience. I also became obsessed with video recording myself doing performances for the camera, editing the videos and then projecting them into spaces I crafted. All of this to say that what intrigues me most is the way that we interact with the world around us, the people in that world, and ourselves. I’ve found the Kink Community to be a vital space to put all of my loves together, to be all (or at least most) of me in my full self, and to put my many life experiences and skills to good (evil) use.

I plan on continuing to enjoy making useful things while reclaiming my joy in video production. Yes, Kink Films in the works!
