Ladders have been a part of my life and imagination space since childhood. I grew up on construction sites helping my father rebuild homes. I love their transcendent nature, allowing us to elevate to higher ground. They are also the perfect pervertible, a utilitarian object that doubles as a versitile bondage rack. I make these from scratch, tapering the legs and narrowing the rugs as they ascend, giving the whole object a forced perspective from bottom to top. These an be made in any type of wood or be stained to match existing architectural deails of your space.
